The Cameri Theatre, Israel's first and leading repertory theatre, was established in Tel Aviv over 50 years ago, by the late Yosef Milo (one of the most theatrical personalities Israel has ever known) and a group of actors and artists who believed in a theatre that would stand as an artistic expression of the new State of Israel.
