American Friends of The Ghetto Fighters' House -
The Ghetto Fighters' House is located on the grounds of Kibbutz Lohamei Haghetaot, the Ghetto Fighters' Kibbutz, which was set up in April 1949, on the road between Acre and Nahariya in northern Israel. The founders of the kibbutz, who were survivors of the Holocaust and many of whom had been active in the Jewish resistance movement, established a Holocaust documentation center, which has evolved into one of Israel's leading museums and a foremost educational institute for the teaching of the Holocaust and the Jewish Resistance. The Ghetto Fighters' House houses historical exhibits on the Holocaust and the Jewish Resistance, an acclaimed art museum, an extensive film and documentation archive, and a teacher's training institute.
